Perigorgeous

Oh my gosh, would this place not be most heavenly to visit? The first photos below are of the castle and chateau. You can actually rent the chateau for up to four adults for a short or extended visit...

I can imagine wandering the courtyard with a glass of local wine in hand...

Or floating in this pool while soaking up the amazing view...

What a magnificent setting for a wedding...

They also provide guided tours of the area through the various markets and towns.

Find out more at www.perigorgeous.com.

Weatherbee

I wanted to share photos of the beautiful new puppy we brought home from the local Humane Society last night. They found him wandering lost and no one came to claim him! Can you imagine, who would abandon such a little darling? He is so full of energy and love and is remarkably well behaved! The bottom two photos are of him with our other two Golden Retriever's. Welcome to our family Weatherbee:)

Beautiful London Flat

I love these photos of this beautiful London Flat. Not sure where I found these (sorry...) but had them in my picture files. The serene colors in this room are so peaceful yet do not seem dull because of the great textures and reflective surfaces. The mercury glass bottles are gorgeous and the moroccan wedding blankets and pillows are divine! Of course I have to mention the glass cluster lights available here at RianRae Interiors. These lights are a sight to behold and absolutely stunning in person!

La Bastide

These amazing photos are of La Bastide in Gard, France. These first photos are of the dining, living, and bedroom areas. LOVE the vintage French chairs and zinc tabletop in the dining room! How dreamy to sleep below those gauzy curtains in the bedroom...

These last three photos are of the bathroom at La Bastide. The chunky wood beams are such a nice contrast against all that white porcelain and whitewashed floors. An old wire basket and seashell collection add the finishing touches. Magnifique!

Tine K Home

I know that Tine K Home has been blogged about in numerous blogs but the photos are so gorgeous and inspirational that I had to share them here as well.

I adore the moroccan vibe of these first two photos and the mix of silver, glass, rustic wood and colorful quilts.

I love the photo with the daybeds pushed together outdoors for a sunbed. What a way to relax and enjoy the outdoors in style... The photo with the log cabin is so inviting. Tine says they call it their "witch cottage" and they often use it as a guestroom. It houses a large open fireplace inside and I think it would be such a cozy place to curl up with cup of tea and a novel beside the fire. I know my Mother-in-law would positively love that cabin, am I right Sue?

Love the grand entry with the staircase and all that fantastic glossy white woodwork and the contrast against the glossy dark brown stained floors. Fabulous! The last photo showcases the comfy and sumptuous Meridienne Chaise available for purchase at RianRae Interiors.

Inspired New Artwork

I wanted to share the new line of artwork I will be adding to my site in the next couple of days. These pieces are so inspiring to me with colors in gorgeous earthy tones and a whimsical moroccan vibe. They are either hand painted on canvas or reproductions with hand applied brushstroke finishes. Absolutely love them! Hope they add a little inspiration to your day. They will be available for purchase at RianRae Interiors by the end of the weekend. Enjoy:)

Warm Weather & Simple Pleasures

It is bitter cold here today (18 degrees F) so I felt the need to dig up some pictures of warmer days. It is the simple pleasures that bring me the most joy and create the happiest memories. Such as taking a family hike together, swimming in the lake upnorth, watching the sunset, or jumping in a pile of leaves. I believe the quote below expresses this sentiment well.

"I adore simple pleasures. They are the last refuge of the complex."
-Oscar Wilde

These last two photos are from Halloween. My Mother and I made the butterfly costumes. We got the inspiration and the instructions from Grace at uncommon grace. You can view photos of the beautiful costumes she made here. Thanks Grace for your instructions for the butterfly costume!
