New Face of Kate Spade

Photos courtesy of Feb/09 issue of Harper's Bazaar (my apologies for the grainy appearance of the photos, I had to scan them in).

These gorgeous photos are from the home of Deborah Lloyd, new creative director of Kate Spade. I am lusting over these photos, particularly the second one. I am very attracted to the combination of the white slipcover sofas, black and white photography, touches of zebra print, and antique wooden trunks. Of course I also love the collection globes (as I have my own) and the punches of bright pink (pink is one of my standby faves regardless of the current color trends). Simply stunning...

I also cannot argue with Lloyd's philosophy, "For me, it's never about saving things," she says. "It's about using the good china everyday and the silver cutlery. It's about handwritten thank-you notes."

Love it.

Wire Photo Holder in Country Home

Ok, I am super psyched about this so had to share it with everyone. Our wire photo holder was featured in the most recent Jan/Feb issue of Country Home magazine! I can't even begin to express how excited I am for RianRae Interiors to be included in this magazine, it has been one of my favorites for many years. I personally love my wire photo holder and used it to hold my Christmas cards this year. They are available to purchase online or you can call or email (contact information below). or toll free at 888-RIANRAE or 888-742-6723.

La Madone

These stunning photos are of the various apartments at La Madone, Maison d' Antiquaire ("special places to rent in heart of apt en Luberon). Well I agree, they most certainly are special. I would adore to spend a weekend or a whole week in any one of these stunning apartments. Love the mix of rustic and glitzy pieces. The contrast together creates quite a magical atmosphere. The owners are antique dealers and the apartments of La Madone are available for rent by the week.

My favorite just might be the last photos here of the more contemporary apartment. I think I love them so much because they are unexpected. As the owners themselves said, "Here is proof that even antique dealers have their modern moments..."
The combination is fantastic and I love the pop of color against the black and white backdrop!
